We will miss you Lily!

On Thursday, August 9, my sweet dog Lily passed away.
She was 11 years old.  I have known her my whole life.  Shee was a very good dog.
She was kinda like my Mom and Dad's first "baby"!

This is when I first met Lily!

Lily is always on the right side of  Dixie! Dixie is Lily's daughter.

Best buddies!

We will miss her a lot but we know that she is resting and not in pain anymore.
Rest in Peace Sweet Lily!

Labor Day fun with Bentley!

For Labor day weekend, my Mom and Dad's friends, David and Kelly, came up with my friend Bentley!
I was so excited she was here!

They got here late on Friday night so first thing on Saturday morning, we went to Charleston for lunch and shopping! When we got home, we were hot and tired so we hopped in our pool!

Mommy is always trying to steal kisses!

I accidentally splashed too hard and splashed water in Bentley's face!

Heeellllooooo Bentley!

Bentley loved the pool!

Bentley and her Mommy!

After all of the fun it was time for a bath!

Before church, we hung out in our matching camo jammies!

I read her books...

and we watched a little Turkey hunting!

When Bentley took her early morning nap, she fell asleep holding Mommy's hand.

On the way to church, I really enjoyed having a buddy in the back seat!

I still had to have a nap on the way home after lunch!

Bentley thinks my Daddy is so funny!

I can't believe that my Mommy was snuggling another baby!
So this is what happens when I take a nap!

When I got up from my nap, Mommy let me premiere my halloween costume.
This is me when I walked out and let everyone see me! I was so proud!

This is the view from the back!

I finally let Mom take my costume off and we went for a ride in the woods.

Then on our golf cart ride, I took another little nap on Daddy.

I love to eat! We had some yummy food!

After some snacks, we went out in the yard for some more fun.
I let Bentley ride on my trike!

One of my dogs Lily has been very sick.

She really enjoyed watching us and getting some fresh air.

Daddy and David made a fire!

I had lots to do while they sat around!

I had lots of sticks to pick up.

Night, Night kisses for Bentley!

On Monday when it was time for them to leave, I had just a little more playing to do with Bentley!

I tried to do the wheelbarrow...

tickle her toes...

pick her up...

and pet her head! I was gentle! Dont worry!

I even helped her walk!

I shared my cowboy hat but she did not like it!!

Mommy was playing with me but I saw what Daddy what doing!

I admit...I was a little jealous!

YAY!! We both got to ride on Daddy!

Thanks for coming to play with me! I hope that you come back soon!!

In Memory of my Maw

My Maw passed away on August 24, 2010.  She was a very special lady.
She was 81 years old and she had been married to my Grandaddy for 61 years!!
This is when me and Maw first met!

Four generations...

She was a good snuggler.

I am so happy I got a chance to bring a smile to my Maw's face!

We will miss Maw so very much!  We know that she is with Jesus and having lots of fun spending time with him. She is a wonderful example of how to serve others!
She made the best grilled cheese and everything else for that matter!
